Welcome to 2010 at Caterham21.com

This site is a comprehensive source of information on the Caterham 21, its development and the current owners.

What is it???

"Loud, fast, fun... and a bit scary."

Alastair Clements Deputy editor Classic & Sports Car Magazine

Just about the first question any owner gets asked. The Caterham 21 was intended as a practical version of the ever popular Seven.

With the development of the 21, Caterham were able to resurrect classic British performance car appeal, with the lightweight performance and handling of modern Seven Racing.

Originally intended as a low-production run car of no more than 200 a year, only just under 50 were ever made and production has now ceased.

The Caterham 21 Owners website and List aims to help us stay in touch, keep the cars on the road and provides somewhere for propective owners and enthusiasts to find out more.

In the media

The most recent review of the 21 was in September 2008 by Classic & Sportscar Magazine who compared it to the Lotus Elise, Vauxhall VX200 and Renault Sport Spyder.  For the original article, you'll have to buy a back issue of the magazine, but we conducted our own interview with the deputy editor who drove the car. See the news section to the right for a copy of our interview.
